And Then There Were Three...

I am sure most of you know by now that we are expecting our third child. I am due July 24th (earlier due to C-section). We are thrilled. This was a complete surprise! Our two girls are true miracles. I know all babies are miracles, but we had to seek some medical advice/help from infertility doctors in order to get McKenna and Carrington here. This third baby is our blessing. We know God has a reason and purpose for everything in our life and he has blessed us with a precious baby. We found out this week that the third girl will be joining our family. As McKenna stated, "I got my wish." We are very excited and are back to the drawing board with names. We will keep you posted. God is Good-ALL THE TIME!

P.S. I tried scanning a photo of our new little one, but it would not work out. We'll have to wait until she arrives to add her to the blog.

Trying it All!

Carrington has been sick with the stomach virus. She is finally perking up a little. She decided to feed her baby in her high chair especially since she now refuses to sit in it.

Practice makes perfect.

Celebrating Valentine's Day

Daddy always cooks us a special Valentine dinner complete with candlelight. He did a great job and made us shrimp creole, salad, and bread. Check out McKenna's get up. She decided at the last minute she was not fancy enough so she changed into some of her dance costumes. Ha!

I always buy the girls a book for Valentine's Day. This year I bought McKenna this book. Carrington was napping during our book exchange.

McKenna's Trip to CHOM!

McKenna's class went to the Children's Hands on Museum. Here are some pictures of her day at the musuem. They had a great time and enjoyed lunch at McDonald's. It is nice having mommy and daddy on these trips.

My Girls at the Zoo!

The Zoo!

It was a beautiful day so we headed to the zoo. We thought everyone was over the stomach virus, but found out by the end of the trip that McKenna was still sick. We did enjoy a couple of hours touring the zoo. Carrington was much more into it than this past summer. She wanted to walk everywhere we went.

Trip to the Circus

This was Carrington's first year going to the circus.
She loved every minute. The only time she wanted down was when she saw the elephants. She wanted to go and get them.

100th Day of Kindergartern

Today was McKenna's 100th Day of kindergarten.
In case you did not know, this is a huge deal in kindergarten. We begin counting at day 1. McKenna is sporting her 100 day crown, her sweatshirt with 100 bugs stamped, and her necklace with 100 beads. This is Elijah and McKenna enjoying popping 600 balloons in the gym. 100 for each kindergarten class.

When all else fails....sit on it.
There you go!
