Pictures Before we Leave the Beach

I get emotional every year when we leave the beach. I know that I can't get that time back with my husband and girls. Time flies so fast. I have been coming to this beach house since Scott and I were dating, engaged, married, baby 1, baby 2, and next year baby 3. My how we have changed. I cherish the time I have had this year and all the wonderful memories. I must admit it makes me sad as well. They are growing up so fast. Next year McKenna will be seven, Carrington 3, and the new baby will be 11 months. I love my family and wish that I could freeze time every once in a while. So here is to a great vacation filled with lots of laughs, good times, and memories.

Sea Turtles

The last day we were at the beach. We woke up to find that a sea turtle had come ashore right in front of our beach house. The turtle patrol was there. McKenna was able to go down and watch them dig up 110 sea turtle eggs. They were too close to shore so they had to be moved to a better place. It was really neat for my little scientist to get to watch this. She was so excited.

Week 2 at the Beach

Nana and Pawpaw came down the second week. Then later in the week, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Lisa and Baby Jackson came. This week was full of burying each other in the sand, water gun fights, digging for sand fleas, crabbing, and playing in the pool.

I know everyone does this, but I love it. These are pictures we took one night with the girls. Very hard to capture a good picture with 2 kids. I am wondering what next year will be like.

Fun At the Beach

Beach Trip with Nene and Pop

We had a great time at the beach. Here are some pics of the girls at the beach the first week. Nene and Pop came down for the first week. They built sand castles (or tried-baby Godzilla knocked them down), played dominoes, caught crabs, and played in the water.
