See Rock City

We had a great time touring Rock City at night. The weather was perfect (not too cold, not too warm). The lights were beautiful.
Scott at Mushroom Rock.
Up on top of the mountain. You can't see, but it was the top of Lookout Mountain where you can see seven states. I am never shy about asking people to take our picture. I want the memories.

Rock City-Festival of Lights

We went to Rock City's Festival of Lights. It was so pretty. We both decided that we must take the girls back up here for a day trip.

Our Get Away!

Scott and I took a weekend get-away trip. Our parents kept the girls for us (which we appreciate more than words can say). We went to Chattanooga for some R and R. We had so much fun. We ate out, talked, shopped, watched movies, rested, and did some sight seeing. We both felt refreshed and connected when we left. Here is a picture of the Incline that we rode. It was quite a distance up the side of the mountain.

Farm City Award

McKenna had to talk about her poster. I was so proud of her. There was a room full of people and she went right up there and told all about her poster. I would have NEVER done that at her age.

McKenna Wins Farm City Contest

McKenna entered a poster contest about the farm. She drew this beautiful poster. Her poster was selected as the K-3rd grade winner in Jefferson County. She was honored at a banquet at the Wynfrey Hotel. We had a wonderful dinner. She received $100.00 and art supplies. It was a great event. We are so proud of our little artist.

McKenna and her art teacher, Mrs. Glaze. McKenna loves her so much.
Wonderful Italian buffet! Yum!

Playing on Her Play Mat!

Enjoying some time on her play mat. Hadleigh is still looking for her tooth. It has to be in there some where. Dr. Blair confirmed she is cutting her lower left tooth. She just might beat her sisters. Carrington cut her first tooth at 5 months and McKenna cut hers at 6 months. Maybe Hadleigh will be 4 months. For her sake, I hope not too much longer.

Can't Resist

I can never resist taking a picture of my sweet girls snuggled up with daddy. Hadleigh had a rough night sleeping (congestion). After Scott fed Hadleigh her bottle, they snuggled up for some good sleep.

Old Mc McKenna!

This is McKenna showing off the peanuts she grew from her peanut plant. Nene bought her a plant way back in the spring. She finally harvested her peanuts. She and Carrington enjoyed eating every last one of them.

I'm 4 Months Old!

Our sweet Hadleigh Bug turned 4 months old today. I couldn't resist taking some pictures with her new headband and tutu. Look at that sweet smile. It lights up the whole room. Can't imagine our lives without this little girl. She completed the Myrick family for sure.
Holding that head up so good.
Sweet little face.
Talking to mommy.
