McKenna's Hospital Stay

Elijah and Mrs. Otwell comes to visit.
Leah, Shelbie, Mrs. Higgins, and Mrs. Gossett come and visit.
While we were at the hospital, McKenna lost her other top tooth. It was a little wiggly when we went in, however, the breathing tube helped to really loosen it. The Tooth Fairy had to visit while we were in the hospital. Now she is missing both top teeth.
Home from the hospital and doing great! She still hates the knee immoblizer.

McKenna had a reaction to the anesthesia so they had to give her several drugs to help. This knocked her completely out so she did not know who was there. I took some pictures so she would know who came and visted her. '

Surgery Day

McKenna was diagnosed with an osteochondroma (bone tumor)several years ago. We did not think it would have to be removed until her teen years, however, it was growing rapidly and causing pain. We chose to have it removed-so long osteochondroma!
Hanging out with Nene before the surgery-5:30 in the morning.
Pop and McKenna waiting for the sun to rise.
Teary eyes while waiting for surgery. A dear friend of ours swapped her days so she could be our nurse. She brought McKenna this frog that we named Frogalina.

Fireworks at Garywood

We went to Garywood to enjoy 4th of July festivities with Pat and Leon. The girls enjoyed the inflatables, watermelon, and ice cream. We were pleasantly surprised that they each enjoyed the loud fireworks. It was a beautiful show.

Alligator Alley

We decided to take the girls to Alligator Alley to meet Captain Crunch. We had a good time, but it was incredibly hot that day. Heat index of 116. We did not have a dry thread on us when we left. McKenna held an alligator and Carrington touched one. We also fed several alligators.
