Relay for Life in honor of Mrs. Shelton
We had a Relay for Life on Friday. This was to honor Mrs. Shelton (McKenna's teacher). Everything turned out wonderful. The Shelton Stars raised over $1100.00. We were so excited. The entire community, school, friends, and family helped to raise $20,000 for the Amercian Cancer Society. We were over the moon about this. We never dreamed it would be that big. Thank you to my friends and family that helped McKenna raise money. I pray that this money help find a cure for this awful disease. Here are some snapshots of Mrs. Shelton, her family, McKenna's classmates, Leon (my father-in-law/cancer survivor, Carrington and McKenna, and some of the Shelton Stars.

Atlanta Zoo
We went to Atlanta thinking we would enjoy the aquarium the most. We had heard rave reviews, however, the zoo was the best. We loved the layout and the animals were actually active. They had animals that Birmingham does not have. The girls had so much fun. Both of them love animals. We spent the whole day enjoying everything they had to offer (playgrounds, train rides, merry go round, great picture places, etc).
